“Art has always been my language.”

From childhood sketches and sculptures to handcrafted leather art today — RADI is the story of my journey, stitched into every piece.

My Journey

Since I was a kid, I’ve always loved creating things — painting, sculpting, carving — anything that let me turn imagination into something real. Art has always been my way of speaking without words.

I studied IT and started my career at Brandix, later joining Leo Burnett Sri Lanka (Publicis Groupe), where I learned how design connects emotion and purpose. But deep down, I wanted to build something different — something that truly carried me.

One day, I discovered leather crafting at the National Craft Council of Sri Lanka, and it completely changed my path. I started experimenting, mixing traditional handwork with my own artistic touch. Over time, I realized it wasn’t just about making leather goods — it was about creating pieces that tell a story.

Now, I work as an independent designer and entrepreneur, blending creativity, craftsmanship, and design to create meaningful, lasting work through RADI.
Every creation carries a part of my journey — the patience of hand-stitching, the boldness of trying something new, and the belief that true design lives where art and soul meet.
